Nizoral

Nizoral shampoo (Ketaconazole 2%) contains a broad-spectrum antifungal, which inhibits the growth of yeast and other fungal infections providing relief from dandruff. Ketaconazole is also known to have anti androgenic effects. Recent research indicates that long term use of Nizoral Shampoo may have some benefit the treatment of Androgenetic alopecia. Nizoral contains a chemical called ketoconazole.
